Design Wall Monday
I finally have something of interest on my design wall. This is the start of my Monet's wedding ring quilt. Just a few blocks made and pinned on here but I am starting to get the idea of what it is going to look like.
Easy piecing but LOTS of little tiny pieces in these blocks. I am current sewing up a bunch of the tiny 9 patch blocks using 1 1/2 strips. I usually don't do that tiny.
My daughter is back to school today after a two week break. It was time..........

Very interesting looking blocks...I don't know this pattern.
Like the start of your quilt Kathie. I'm supposed to start that one too so seeing yours at least reminds me I haven't started yet. Keep posting progress as you go, please.
I also don't know this pattern, but I like the name. I am assuming that it will lokk like a double wedding ring quilt without all of the arcs to sew?
I'm looking forward to seeing this quilt in the future.

I love the colors of that quilt!
My kiddos are homeschooled, so I don't ever get rid of them, lol...but, that's the way we like it.
I hadn't seen this pattern either so I googled it and I like it! I can't wait to see it when you get it together.
Interesting pattern~ I love the colors you've chosen. :-)
Very interesting......I did a lap quilt with 1 1/2" strips, cross cut creating a postage stamp quilt, and I love the finish! did it all in florals. So it will be fun to see how your project comes out.
I love Judy Martin's patterns - they go together so perfectly! You have a nice start on your quilt there - it is going to be lovely! Cheers! Evelyn
This looks like it would be a lot work. And lots of little pieces. Keep us posted on the progress
These look great Kathie, my design wall is empty today because I've been making pillowcases and getting ready to make QAYG blocks. I've got a ton of batting squares cut so I'm all set now.
I love quilts with lots of little pieces.
That is so cool looking! What is the pattern? I noticed someone mentioned Judy Martin...is it one of hers?
Gorgeous anyway! Can't wait to see it progress.

Disregard my question on which pattern...I found it and it IS going to be gorgeous! I love Judy's books and patterns.

Love your colors! I'm still playing with the idea of starting--but I've still got so many UFO's. I did order the book, so it should be here soon.
