Design Wall Monday - August 9, 2010

After seeing how many panels I had yesterday I got busy and made the Christmas one into an appx. 45 x 60 lap quilt. Nothing fancy, just added 4 plain borders to it, mindless sewing.

At least now there is one less panel in my stash and I will have one more Christmas quilt once it is finished up. I need to get binding cut and it will then go on my "to be quilted" shelf which is getting fairly full again.

At least I started off my week using stash up yesterday, now if I can just stay out of fabric stores this week maybe I will have a stash reduction to report next weekend!!

LOVE IT and I have a ton of panels that I am saving for the nice mindless sewing days.

woo-hoo for one less panel! very nice. My to be quilted stack is getting up there again too...it's like the circle of life...sorta.

Mindless sewing made a wonderful Christmas quilt. You can come be mindless for me anytime.

I wouldn't say the borders are exactly plain :). Nice work; hope it finds a new home at one of the craft fairs you participate in later this Fall. Since it is fabric I think you should count it as using up your stash in the next report.

Nice finish for a panel. We have a lot of panels at the shop and we need to get some of them finished so customers can see them.
