I got labels sewn on the rest of the hospice quilts that I received monday night so wanted to show you a mini quilt show of those.
This first butterfly quilt was made by Jan and quilted and bound by Lee. It had a small section where the seam wasn't caught so I fussed the blue flower on it. Figure a flower would go with butterflies and it was the only think I had that was quick and I thought might work.
This rail fence quilt was made out of a kit I cut. It was made by a mother/daughter team of Melissa and Lee.
This last quilt that I call Moon and Stars was made by Patty W. I love the way she fussy cut pictures for this.
I had a very productive day yesterday. I quilted a customer kids quilt, got my UFO #1 quilted (step closer to being done) and delivered 10 quilts to hospice house and then attended a winter sports reception at the high school. No wonder I am tired this morning!!

Lovely quilts! These will bring smiles to those who receive them .
Great fix up with the flower...I had to look real hard for it. Great job everyone! The week's caught up with you? On Tuesday you were thinking it should be Wednesday... I hope the Hospice Home was expressful in receiving the quilts. It's always nice to hear when you and others are appreciated. Sandi
They all look great Kathie, I think its wonderful how many quilts you and your group are providing for Hospice. When my father-in-law and aunt were on hospice several years ago, their quilts were never far from them so I know how much comfort these are bringing.
Those are great quilts. Some people will be VERY happy!
Fun Quilts! Warm hugs for those needing them, I'm sure.
Beautiful quilts! I have a friend Cathy who may want to start doing this, too...
By the way, I put together "Soul Bundles" for the care of the body-mind-spirit at the time of transitions. You can see more at www.soulbaskets.com where they're on 20% sale right now, too! Happy Holydays, Maria dancingheart~~~
