Well my net numbers took a back slide this week. With JoAnn's 50% off sale on clearance fabric I went ahead and got backing fabric for two quilt tops I have done (my patriotic quilt and my neon cats quilt). Once that fabric is washed and seamed it will be out of my stash.
Fabric used this week: 7.25 yards
Fabric used YTD: 122 yards
Fabric purchased this week: 10 yards
Fabric purchased YTD: 100.5 yards
Net fabric used in 2011: 21.5 yards
Finished up my split decision top (picture tomorrow) and started piecing together more of the Christmas tumblers to make a couple more table runners. I am happy to see that my box of pre-cut projects is rapidly going down.
Have a great sunday, going to be HOT here in Maryland.
Kathie

Great stash report
If you have to buy backing, you can't beat 50% off.
As Katie Z said, 50% off for backing fabric is something that you shouldn't pass up. Still in the black, so that's good too.
Good job Kathie, you are knocking those table runners and charity quilts right off your list. I like both of your quilts, good job.
Over on Stashbusters, buying backing and batting are legal BUYS. Still a good report and it all adds up.
Sales are the only way to buy backing, for sure.
Great stashbusting! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
That is a good sale for quilt backing. Can't blame you for passing it up. Your numbers still look wonderful. It will be hot and humid in Kansas too.
Can't blame you for buying backing fabric on sale. Any thing that leads to another finish is good.
Great report! Which also reminds me I need to go to Joanns tomorrow!
You can not pass up a sale like that!!
The 50% off sale is great especially when you can FIND something in the clearnace fabrics. Sounds like you scored. Sandi
