Sunday Stash Report - September 19, 2010

Well this week has been a stash enhancement week, not a reduction. I worked on customer quilts and household things all week so didn't use up any stash at all.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to take a bus trip to the Pennsylvania National Quilt Show. It was great, wonderful quilts (will post pictures of a few tomorrow), great vendors and wonderful friends. What more could you ask for in a day.

Here is a picture of my purchases. All across the back are Christmas fabrics, most will be used up in craft show items. On the right are a few fat quarters that I picked up to go with a panel that I have had for a couple of months so hopefully those will also be used up sometime soon.

The FQ pack I saw when we first got there (all batik) but I resisted but then spent the next 5 hours walking around thinking about them. So needless to say when we were getting ready to leave I popped by and picked them up. These will be for a quilt for ME!!

I also picked up one pattern for a Christmas tree wall hanging and a Wing Trimmer ruler for making perfect flying geese.

I guess you could say that I really stimulated the economy yesterday.

Here are my current stats:

Fabric Used this week: 0
Fabric Used YTD: 194.50
Fabric Purchased this week: 13 yards
Fabric Purchased YTD: 131.75
Net Fabric Used in 2010: 62.75

So pretty!

And, you have a place for all of them. You were mindful of your purchases. I find that is the biggest side effect of having stash report...it makes me mindful of what I purchase.

Kathie I think you did okay on your trip considering you picked up things that will bring back. And why ever shouldn't treat your self that batik bundle! The pattern looks cute too. Will it be one for a future craft show item or is it to involved...well I guess time will tell on this one :) My goodness another way for making perfect flying geese? Can it be possible? The gadget quilters will be ever so happy!

Kathie the fabrics are great. With all you do you deserve to just buy once in awhile.

sometimes you have to buy some stash, otherwise you begin to hate what you have! Adding to the stash makes older fabric play nicely and be sources of inspiration.

I think you did great, at least you don't have bag fulls of items.
How many where there that went???
