Melting in Maryland

We have been melting in Maryland the last couple of days. My daughter was on a field trip to the National Zoo on wednesday in 97 degree weather. She said they spent most of the day eating shaved ice and trying to stay in the shade. Yesterday it hit 100 and humid, not my type of weather at all.

I had a couple of appointments but tried to spend as much time as possible down in the basement where it was nice and cool.

I quilted up these three runners yesterday.

Other than these I have been working on a couple of baby quilts and getting small tasks done like making up bindings and stitching around some fused on appliques.
