Have not had much time to do any piecing this week so my Christmas sampler quilt is still on my wall. At least I finally have all twelve blocks made and ready to start sashing them.

- Hi I am Kathie, I live in Southern Maryland and I started quilting 13 plus years ago as something to do while home for four weeks recovering from surgery. Little did I know that 13 years later I would still be quilting. I quilt for myself, make items for craft shows and long arm quilting for ladies of a couple of local guilds.

Slow and steady (or even unsteady) gets the quilt done. I too haven't done a whole lot this past week. The Christmas blocks are coming along nicely.
I love putting sampler blocks on the wall and then walking into them and moving them around until I find what I think is just the right layout. Your's are so bright and cheerful, just like Christmas should be.
Where did the summer go???? Very nice blocks :)
Nice variety in your sampler--I like the gold added as well.
Samplers are one of my most favorite projects. Only thing that can make them better is to be SCRAPPY! Sandi
