Well there is actually nothing on my design wall again this monday. With Thanksgiving, customer quilts and a terrible cold I didn't do much sewing on anything of mine this past week.
I did manage to get the soccer quilt (Christmas present) quilted and have started stitching down the binding at night so guess this picture is a design recliner instead of a design wall.
Sandi asked if I thought I could still reach my 100 net usage on my fabric by the end of the year. The way things are going I kind of doubt that. I will definitely be busy for the next 3 weeks doing customer quilts (and will then cut it off for some me time). Also what I want to work on in between times is my batik quilt and I ahve already counted all those fat quarters. If I can get a few more yards used I will be happy but at least I have made a dent in my stash this year. Also I have used up some of the older fabric so my stash is feeling a little bit "fresher" than it did. Still have some of that old old small print calico I need to use up but I am liking my stash more and thats a big plus.

I really like the design. Did you come up with that or is the pattern published somewhere. Would love to know how to make it.
Looking good Kathie. That is such a great and easy pattern. Like how you out lined the theme fabric with the black. (Or at least looks black to me. ) Nice job.
Cute quilt -- I like the colors.
love this quilt! Great job!

Your quilt turned out wonderful.
Nice quilt! I too am looking forward to working on some if my stuff once the customer quilts are finished.
I'm positive the recipient will love your special gift. I can visualize the joy in opening the festively wrapped package. Glad to hear your stash is being freshened up...I've still got calico...guess it's time to make a reproduction quilt! Happy week ahead. Sandi
I love the idea of a design recliner. I need one of those every once in a while.

That is a really fun themed quilt. I like it! And the Design Recliner :)
Good work on your stash busting.
Wonderful soccer quilt! I love the fabrics you chose.
I love the quilt. It's a great way to use a novelty print. I sometimes have trouble using them as they are hard to find matching colors....you did wonderful.
Good job Kathie, glad that you got it done. Hope your cold will be leaving you soon, we have a nice Christmas party coming up.
Great soccer quilt, is it done in his team colors? I'm sure that will be a very love Christmas gift.
I appreciate your comments about your stash busting. I failed miserably at that this year. I'm trying to determine what I want to do in terms of my stash for next year, you gave me some good ideas on what I might focus on. Thanks!
I love your soccer quilt. My DGS would love it too.
a fresher stash--that is exactly what I'm working for.
LOVE how your soccer quilt turned out :)
