Sunday Stash Report - October 31, 2010

Well back sliding again this week. I have been quilting (quilted both a charity quilt and a craft show Christmas quilt) and I have been sewing on a christmas present but all that fabric was previously counted.

The only fabric used this week and not previously counted was some fabric for bindings.

I also purchased a couple of yards of fabric but that was border fabric and will be cut and on the quilt hopefully in the next couple of days.

Fabric used this week: 1 yard
Fabric used YTD: 232.75 yards
Fabric added this week: 2 yards
Fabric added YTD: 152.75 yards

Net used in 2010: 80 yards (still no where near my goal of 100 yards and only two months to go).

You may still reach your goal. I'm holding out and I'm still only at 29 2/3 yards, lol.

Back sliding? I hardly think 1 yard out and 2 yards in counts as back sliding. Maybe 10 yards in would be back sliding. With two months to go and 20 yards needed to hit 100 that is 2.5 yards per week. I know you can do it.

Shucks, 20 yards is nothing for a stepper and from what I have read this year you are definitely a stepper! You will make your 100 yard goal easily!

The back sliding wasn't major. Twenty yards does seem like a lot. Maybe you need a game plan for the rest of the year? Could you look at what you have on your to do list and see if you can move some things around to get the fabric usage counted this year?

You've been busy. Keep at it, you'll achieve your goal! Just one big quilt with a scrappy back and you'll be there! Happy Halloween.
