Timing is Everything

I recently quilted a panel quilt that looked like a huge basket of flowers that would become one of our hospice quilts. Jane was nice enough to do the binding for me and handed it back to me at our day time guild yesterday with binding and label complete.

It just so happened that one of the other members approached me to see if she could come by the house one day to get a quilt for an ex-principal of one of our local schools that is suffering from terminal cancer.

Since I had just been given that quilt back I was able to hand it off to her for delivery. Perfect timing all around.

As to the question did I find the backing? No, once I got distracted I never went back to it. I don't have many browns etc. but hope when I look again that I will find enough pieces to make 10 1/2 squares to create my backing.

Woke up at 2:30 this morning with a headache and jittery. Got up and took my blood pressure to be on the safe side (everything fine) but then just couldn't go back to sleep. Watched TV till 4:00 and then went to the basement and sewed till about 5:15 when my hubby got up.

I did manage to finish the middle section of my duck quilt and pull fabric for the borders.

A trip to the grocery store this morning and to the dentist about noon to receive my perm crown on my tooth and I am going to try and come back home and take a short nap.

Sure hope that you can get your health back on track. You are in my prayers.

Yes, timing was perfect. You should have a couple of each quilts at your home for just that reason. I sure hope you get yourself back on track and stay healthy. Take care of yourself.

Did you have enough yellow to make the duck project the size you wanted? I got binding and sleeve on a 96 x 100 Bonnie Hunter design last night. Nearly 10 WOF strips! Now comes TV time with DH! Sandi
