Had a nice weekend with time to rest, relax, watch a couple of movies and do some quilting.
I finished up quilting a full sized floral bricks quilt using a free hand scalloped triple tear drop that was an idea of Bonnie Hunter’s from www.quiltville.com. I love the way it looks on just about any type of quilt.
I also sewed the binding on my “New Hampshire Blues” quilt and got a few feet hand stitched to the back.
Yesterday the quilt frame looked a little empty but didn’t want to start on a big project so I loaded some backing fabric and quilted up a couple of bright coffee themed table runners in my ongoing efforts to get ready for fall craft shows.
