I still have a week to go in my three week sewing marathon (after work and on weekends that is) and I only have three items on my three week list that are not done.
5. Create quilting samples to show customers
11. Quilt 3 or 4 craft show table runners (backing fabric is selected and ready to wash)
12. Quilt butterfly quilt - this in on the frame and in process. Quilted a little bit more after work tonight and have about half done.
When I set goals for myself, have a little extra time and of course don't cook much I can get a lot done in a few hours a week.

Busting Stash
I accomplished something on my list and busted stash at the same time yesterday. I have a buttfly quilt top that I pieced several months ago that needed a backing. I took all the fabrics left from the front plus a few others and made a backing out of 10 1/2 squares yesterday.
Now I am ready to load this on the frame later today I hope.

At Home Retreat
I decided to have an at home quilting retreat today. Do a few chores and errands in the morning but since I am off today to spend the rest of the day working on my projects. Finished the customers wall hanging this morning and then finished this baby quilt top that I had been working on the last couple of days.
Now to pick up a few things around the house and then back to the sewing room to see what other projects I want to work on.

Picture Progress
Wanted to post a couple pictures of my progress. The coffee runner is one of three that I completed the bindings on while in a hotel for the weekend. It is quilted in what I call a half swirl using teal thread. I think it goes well with the swirls in the fabric.
The other picture is the baby quilt I am working on. I am lucky enough to work just a few miles from my house so I came home and sewed for 15 minutes today on this during lunch.
I was going to quilt on the long arm tonight but I got a new pair of glasses this afternoon. My vision is nice and clear and it is so nice to have glasses with no scratches but my equilibrium is a bit off like it usually is the first day with new glasses. Think sitting and working on the baby quilt will be a better option.

Wednesday Update
Made progress on my list last night.
#1 - customer wall hanging is now loaded on the frame and ready to quilt in the next couple of days.
#10 - baby quilt is completely cut out. I am using a pattern out of the Sew One and Your Done book by Evelyn Sloppy that I recently purchased. Love the book, this will be the first pattern I have made out of it.

Three Week List
My daughter is off at camp for three weeks. Since I can concentrate most of my free time to quilting for the next three weeks I came up with a list of all the quilting related things I would like to accomplish during that time. I am making good progress already as several of the items are done or in process.
1. Quilt customer wall hanging
2. Bind 3 coffee table runners (accomplished last weekend while out of town)
3. Finish binding Christmas Rails lap quilt (finished last week)
4. Stitch around appliques on 3 runners (completed last week)
5. Quilt quilting samples for customers to see
6. Make 4 cream centered strip runners
7. Piece backing for butterfly quilt
8. Piece chinese coins or 9 patch charity quilt top
9. piece two triple express runners (both tops completed yesterday)
10. Piece teddy bear baby quilt top
11. Quilt 3 or 4 craft show runners
12. Quilt either butterfly or JoAnn's block of the month quilt
Do you think I can get it all done by the 25th? I will try and post some pictures of my progress as the days go on.

Wish List Accomplishments
I did pretty good on my wish list this weekend. I got the Christmas Rails quilt quilted (pictured here) and have even machine stitched the binding on so now have a hand sewing project for the evenings.
I did piece a backing but not for the butterfly quilt. I had 25 blue and yellow squares already cut for a backing so cut more and made a backing for a lap quilt made out of Blue and Yellow JoAnns Fabrics blocks of the month.
I also cut some patriotic fabric into 3 1/2 strips for our next guild meeting.
All this in additional to household chores and packing my daughter for camp, I would say I had a busy weekend.
